PACS Installation Agreement in the UK to Improve Workflow and Throughput

PACSHealth, LLC (Scottsdale, AZ, USA), the developer of PACSHealth, an innovative application that uses advanced monitoring and reporting tools to improve picture archiving and communication system (PACS) workflow and throughput, announced that it has signed an agreement to install its PACSHealth system at 11 HCA International UK hospital sites.

HCA International (London, UK) will integrate PACSHealth with its GE Healthcare (Chalfont St. Giles, UK) Centricity 2.1 PACS to provide real-time critical system event monitoring, historical performance trending, and interactive audit log capabilities. The hospitals will use this dashboard of information to improve patient outcomes by analyzing its PACS data and intercepting patient or study mismatch errors, system anomalies, and data inconsistencies.

HCA International is a division of HCA, which owns and operates approximately 200 hospitals and approximately 104 freestanding surgery centers in 21 U.S. states, and several others in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

PACSHealth is a developer of software systems for medical imaging technology.
